The Officers and Board of Trustees led by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø President, Dr. Alexander O. Tuazon , Vice-President, Dr. Salvacion Gatchalian and Immediate Past President, Dr. Milagros Bautista made a courtesy call yesterday, July 21, 2016, with Dr. Paulyn Jean B. Rosell-Ubial. All for Health Towards Health For All will be the flagship of the new Secretary of the Department of Health. The Philippine Pediatric Society will be partnering with the DOH projects dealing with children’s health towards the universal health care program. Steps towards the improvement of immunization coverage was also discussed.

The new National Objectives for Health as a country with private-public partnerships were emphasized. The Secretary’s advocacy to improve our Breastfeeding rate in the country was in congruence with the goals of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Breastfeeding Congress . We look forward to an active role of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in collaboration with the Department of Health in other areas as well.
